Product Information
Para-aramids are high-performance fibers with great stability. Our suppliers DuPont™ with the brand Kevlar® and Teijin Conex with the brand Twaron® are the leading providers of para-aramids.
Article 01290.99 is a spunlace nonwoven made of 100% para-aramid. By means of high pressure, a homogeneous entangled textile fabric (nonwoven fabric) is created. This nonwoven can be embossed or perforated via different structured drums.
With our Norafin nonwovens made of para-aramids you benefit from:
- heat, flame, and chemical resistance
- high dimensional stability in all direction due to the isotropic fiber orientation by the use of our special Norafin process technology
- high strength even at low weights
