STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is a worldwide consistent, independent testing and certification system for raw, semi-finished, and finished textile products at all processing levels, as well as accessory materials used.
Nonwovens made of viscose (incl. LENZING™ Viskose), LENZING™ Lyocell and polyester (incl. bicomponent fibers) in raw white, white and dope-dyed, polylactic acid, polypropylene and split fibers made of polyester/polyamide in raw white, flax and hemp in natural color as well as mixtures thereof, needle punched and/or spunlaced; partly produced with fibers and finished with products having biological active/flame retardant properties, accepted by OEKO-TEX®; produced by using materials certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX.®
Our nonwovens made of aramide-, viscose-, polyacrylonitrile-, UHMW-polyethylene-, carbon- and acrylic fibers in different mixtures as well as nonwoven with melamine resin layer, water jet compacted; (partly) produced with fibers accepted by OEKO-TEX® having flame retardant properties; produced by using materials according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® are certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® (20.0.37912 HOHENSTEIN HTTI).
Nonwovens made of recycled polyester in raw white and black in mixtures with viscose (incl. LENZING™ Viskose), LENZING™ Lyocell and polyester (incl. bicomponent fibers) in raw white, white and dope-dyed, polylactic acid, polypropylene and split fibers made of polyester/polyamid in raw white, flax and hemp in natural colour, needle punched and/or spunlaced; recycled content 20% - 50%: recycled polyester from pre-consumer PET sources and post-consumer PET bottles; partly produced with fibers and finished with products having biological active/flame retardant properties, accepted by OEKO-TEX®; produced by using materials certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® (22.HDE.87509 HOHENSTEIN HTTI).

Environmental Management System according to DIN EN ISO 14001
We are constantly looking for ways to make our production processes more resource-efficient while at the same time increasing productivity, and why we attach great importance to the careful use of raw materials throughout the entire production process.
Since 2023 we have complied with the International Environmental Management Standard and have certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001. Thus we can take another step towards the future.
Energy Management System according to DIN EN ISO 50001
Since 2014, Norafin has operated using a certified energy management system according to DIN EN ISO 50001. It is our goal to use energy consciously and efficiently throughout our production process.
